It was much more interesting and more important for me to play for me, and Crysis faded into the background, then the second and third part already came out and considering that they continue each other so I in the series and did not jump.

That I really liked it is the very open world. And not because you can go wherever you want. This is not Farcry. Everything is clearly in missions, but great variability. You can go through the jungle and cut off opponents or lay on the hill in the stall and remove everyone from the sniper. You can sit in a military jeep or ship and shoot a machine gun. There will also be missions on the tank and on the boat in the process of the game, which gives a variety. Nevertheless, the game sags strongly in places. Misses are monotonous and ultimately solved only by a shootout. He came to a certain location, shot everyone, cut down a locator or muffler, went on. Only sometimes really interesting episodes come across, when in anticipation of reinforcements you need to deal with similar soldiers in nanocostomes in the cemetery at night.
The mission inside the ship of aliens is generally a separate psychodel. Protracted, boring and not at all interesting. But with huge references to the film Matrix. The feeling that a navhedanor is about to appear and neo will come out of it.
Checkpoints are very strange in the game, often who are far from each other and not quite logical. Opponents behave not so smartly or aggressively, how much just always and clearly fall into you even from far away and always see you. At the same time, their health itself is also not enough and the shootings are obtained as with plastic soldiers. It seems that the weapon is felt well and the environment collapses under a hail of shells, but there is no drive. In the second half of the game, when the aliens appear, it becomes older, but does not save the situation much.
In general, I went through the game not without pleasure. In some places she pleasantly surprised, but in some places she pushed away. All this together creates the feeling that the product seems to be with ambitions, but it is damp and looks like a category “B” militant. They didn’t reach a little here, they did not get there and the so. Yes, for its time, it was large and beautiful, but for me the choice in 2007 was obvious and it was not Crysis.

I had similar sensations from the game, and never understood the enthusiasm from the first part of the “crisis”. In fact, this is a beautiful technology, a primitive plot, prolonged missions, kinematographic. But there are cool graphics, you can get out in shootouts thanks to a decent arsenal, destruction, and there are missions because of the feature of the costume. That’s just for me this is not enough for the shooter to hook.
